The beautiful crescent shaped bay is home to a number of low rise hotels built in traditional style and a handful of relaxing beachfront bars. Dahab retains a small town feel and is much quieter and more traditional than some other Egyptian resorts.

The town of Dahab still retains much of its rustic charm with the tourist centre of Masbet full of cafés, restaurants, colourful markets and great shopping.

Egypt is a fascinating country to visit. Its culture and history, combined with the chance to visit world-renowned archaeological sites, offer an experience unlike any other Neilson destination.

Scuba Diving With James Was Just Amazing, I Went Out To Dahab From The 5th To The 12th April 09, I Completed My Open Water Diving Course Out There And It Was Just Brilliant :) Should Be Going Back Soon.. :D:D x

Having never been on a water sports holiday before, I wasn't sure what to expect and how I would fit in. However I can safely say that this has been one of the best holidays I've experienced. We were well looked after by both the hotel and resort staff; with regular briefings we were kept up to date with all the goings on including non-waterbased activities and excursions. One small negative was the quality of food in the hotel, but personally this wasn't supposed to be a gastronomic experience and there was always plenty to fill you up before your next activity. Having said this, I would thoroughly recommend the beach BBQ. I'd decided to try my hand at Dinghy Sailing and as a complete beginner I found the course really informative and a lot of fun. I'm now hooked and hope to build on the level 1 certificate I achieved during my stay. Thank you to all at Dahab, see you again soon.

Went with no expectations never having been on an activity holiday in my life. The dinghy tuition was first class & the instructors had infinite patience. The entire team were brilliant. They must have got something right as I got my Level 1 never having been in a dinghy before. My wife sampled the sailing and the sunbeds while my son disappeared for whole days at a time diving. He came back speechless after his first ever Red Sea dive. Having been sorkelling at the Blue Hole I can understand why. Stunning! The hotel and its staff are extremely hospitable and the rooms & grounds are spotless. The whole set-up is excellent & I cannot find fault with anything. I would certainly recommend it as wonderful watersports centre.
