With year-round sunshine, warm water and reliable consistent winds, Dahab is an amazing playground for a wide range of activties. Dahab lies at the foot of the majestic red tinted mountains of the Sinao, lapped by the clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Aqaba. The beautiful crescent shaped bay is home to a number of low rise hotels built in traditional style and a handful of relaxing beachfront bars. Dahab retains a small town feel and is much quieter and more traditional than some other Egyptian resorts. In recent years, it has become a mecca for divers and windsurfers and with 300 days a year of wind above Force 4, you will get great conditions at almost anytime of the year.

The town of Dahab still retains much of its rustic charm with the tourist centre of Masbet full of cafés, restaurants, colourful markets and great shopping.

Egypt is a fascinating country to visit. Its culture and history, combined with the chance to visit world-renowned archaeological sites, offer an experience unlike any other Neilson destination.

A fantastic sailing area run by a great team. Went with the intention of diving, snorkelling, sight seeing, but the windsurfing was far too 'awesome'. The Neilson and hotel staff are all really attentive (although the food would have been alot nicer if it had been hotter) and go out of their way to make sure your holiday is action packed. We'll definately go back!!

Went to Dahab for Christmas week. Plenty of wind, excellent kit, especially the new Starboard Futuras. Tuition was brill and the team were great fun and very friendly. Excellent sailing areas although I only stayed in the lagoon area but my husband and son said 'Speedy' was awesome! Lovely hotel, lovely food, can't fault it, everything at Dahab you could ever want in windsurfing holiday. Will definately be visiting Dahab again. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Dahab is perfect for water based sports fanatics.

It is not suitable for families with children under the age of 4.

The childcare is superb, but places are limited to 5 spots. Therefore if you have any wish of sharing time with other families with small children I would suggest Sivota in Greece.

The Egyptian staff at the Coralia Beach restaurant are not child friendly, which made dinner at times unnerving.

In all honesty I think Neilson should designate this resort as for adults/water sport fanatics only, unless your children are 7 yrs old and above.

Neilson are a great company, but they have got Coralia Beach wrong for young families.
