Dahab is one of the best locations for a windsurfing holiday in Egypt.

Windsurfers of every level and ability will find conditions to suit them - whether you're a beginner looking for expert tuition or an advanced windsurfer looking for great conditions and equipment a windsurfing holiday in Egypt will suit you.

The reliable, strong and clean winds of Dahab make it a very popular destination in Egypt. Windsurfing conditions are very similar to the ever popular Vassiliki in Greece, except that the wind starts early in the day, easing slightly in the afternoon.

In recent years, Dahab has become a paradise for divers and windsurfers, flocking to the sunshine in the winter months.

We have added dinghy sailing, mountain biking, tennis and kitesurfing (kitesurfing available at a supplement) to your windsurfing holiday in Egypt to create a Neilson Beachclub holiday in a unique location with modern facilities and reliable winds.

In front of the hotel the beach shelves gently providing easy launching and gentler winds - ideal for beginners and intermediates who are new to winsdurfing in Egypt.

There is also an area known as the speed course with a choice of flat or choppy water, great for cracking advanced technique. A large sand spit jutting into the Gulf of Aqaba provides up to 2km of flat water with a clean cross off-shore breeze, ideal for those carving manoeuvres.

When conditions are suitable we organise trips beyond the outer reef to 'Kamikaze' an area with 'bump 'n' jump' conditions for expert sailors.

Beginners should not be put off by the strong wind as there are plenty of small sails to use and the naturally formed lagoon provides easy launching conditions.
