Windsurfing
Mornings are ideal for beginners to get out on the water, whilst
intermediates and experts can enjoy light wind practice or theory/video
sessions. By mid afternoon most days, the wind shift arrives
and it all starts to happen! Expert windsurfers leap onto short boards
to make the most of dream conditions. If you still have the energy, we
offer late safety cover most evenings when the wind blows.
With improvements to modern equipment design, improver windsurfers with
a go-for-it attitude can often make fast progress. If you want to learn
to windsurf then don't let Vassiliki's reputation put you off, as the
morning breeze is always gentle
Inclusive Tuition and Equipment
Mornings are set aside for beginners and theory/video sessions for
the experts. Afternoon waterbased tuition caters for all levels and
covers everything from classic manoeuvres like the carve gybe to the
latest tricks and tuition.

Dinghy Sailing
We have a small selection of dinghies, 2 Laser Funboat, 2 Laser Pico and 1 Dart 16 which are used primarily by
the children’s clubs. These dinghies are available for general use when
not being used by the children. Please note: we are unable to provide
dinghy sailing tuition.
Mountain Biking
Vass' has long been respected as one of the world's premier
locations for windsurfing and is now regarded as an incredible base for
mountain biking too.
A network of off-road tracks and winding roads leads from our
beach centre up towards the colossal peaks, which tower above the
island. Those seeking off-road challenges will love the epic rides up
to the White Church and around the rocky headlands, while pleasant
villages and beautiful beaches offer perfect destinations for more
laid-back off-road rides.
The tracks are among the best in the Mediterranean and can
sometimes be challenging but our bike guides offer helpful advice
on off-road technique, to ensure you get the most out of your mountain
biking and your stay in Vassiliki.
This is one of our recommended resorts for biking, and as such,
we offer a fleet of 22 high quality HKEK mountain bikes from
Gary Fisher, two experienced bike guides trained to cater for all your
biking needs and on most days there will be two or three rides
available, including routes with greater distances and more challenging
terrain.
Book-a-Bike is also available for £55 per week, where you can
reserve a specific size of bike for your use throughout your holiday. There is a Watersports Waiver discount of £60 per week that can be
deducted from the Beachclub price if you only wish to cycle
during your holiday.
Our Bikes
We have plenty of high quality bikes for everyone, including a
selection of models, though our current favourite is the Gary Fisher
Hoo Koo E Koo Disc.
Scuba Diving
A free try dive in the pool is available most weeks of the season. A wide range of dive courses from Discover Scuba, 4 day PADI Open Water and various duration dive packages are available to pre-book.
