How To Organise A Group Activity Holiday
It’s
really simple to book active holidays for groups with Neilson, but before
you pick up the phone, there are a few things that you need to consider.
Knowing Your Group Requirements
As the group organiser, the first thing to decide on is where you want to go and when you’d like to travel. To help answer this, ask yourself these questions:
• Which resort would best suit my group?
• What dates do we want to travel?
• Do I need to make sure the resort is suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels?
• Does the group have any activity preferences?
• Are there any non-active people in the group?
• What type of accommodation do we want to stay in? Beachplus resort or Beachclub, and what board basis are you looking for? Club board, Half Board, Bed and Breakfast or room only.
• What level of tuition does the group require?
• Where are we travelling from?
•
What’s our holiday budget?
If
you're unsure, let one of our advisors help you out. Our group specialists can recommend the most suitable resorts and properties for
your group, no matter what the size. Call us now on 0845 070 3460 for expert advice on organising your group holiday.
Deposits
When
organising a group, we appreciate it can be difficult to get
everybody's details and deposits together immediately so, we can hold
your group's accommodation and flight seats while you gather this
information (this applies to charter flight seats only). And at the
booking stage, all we need is a deposit of just £130 per person for
charter flights (including children) and £150 per person for scheduled
flying. Full payment for your holiday is due 8 weeks before departure.
A top tip is to tell your party it's 10 weeks to avoid any late
payments!
Child Ages
If you’re travelling
with children, we will need their ages (on the date of return travel)
when you give us their names. An infant is classed as a child from 0-23
months, and from 2-12 years inclusive, they're classed as children.
