We set ourselves very high standards for your holiday accommodation. Each hotel is chosen primarily for its charm, range of facilities, location and suitability for activities.
If you choose a Beachplus Club you will find a hotel no larger than 140 rooms, this ensures a friendly atmosphere, in which no one is merely a face in the crowd. Our clubs are exclusive to Neilson, enabling us to maintain the exceptional quality you expect from a Beachplus holiday.
Our Beachclubs have something to appeal to all people - with small, friendly beachfront hotels of about 25 rooms to larger hotels such as the
Coralia Beachclub and
Nautica Bay Beachclub and even traditional style village rooms, where you are immersed in the local culture such as
Eleni’s House in Finikounda. The hotels we choose may be shared with other people, so they are not exclusive to Neilson and we leave the management of these hotels to those who know the area best - the locals.
The one thing, which unites all of our clubs, is the same high level of service, staff, activities and childcare.
Some of our resorts are more suitable than others for our customers with special needs. If you or any of your family or friends have any concerns please call us to discuss your individual requirements and we will advise you accordingly.
Late check out
Sometimes flights depart late in the afternoon or evening, when this is the case we are able to offer the chance to book a room for late check out. This service is available for a small supplement and can be booked in resort, subject to availability.
Log Off
Feel the sun on your face, the wind in your hair or the fresh mountain air on your nose. Turn your mobile phone off (it does have an off button). Leave the laptop closed and the e-mails unread and just enjoy the moment. On the other hand, we also understand that some of you simply can’t - that’s why all of our Beachplus Clubs now have a Wi-Fi connection so you can log-on whilst you recharge your batteries.
Self praise is no praise but…
Every year we ask you for some honest and frank feedback on your holiday experience - it’s the only way we can make it better than it is already.
The feedback we got for 2007 continues to be impressive. 99% of you rated our staff as good or excellent. Our hotels scored 98% good or excellent. 98% of you rated the quality of instruction as good or excellent. And activities offered at our children’s clubs scored 97% good or excellent.
Overall 99% of our guests would probably or definitely recommend our holidays.
Certain clubs consistently exceed these standards and are awarded our own ‘Marque
of Excellence’.

Travelife - Sustainability in Tourism
We have been auditing all Neilson-run hotels and yacht operations to see how they perform against a sustainability checklist created by Travelife, an independent initiative, funded by the European Union and supported by the Federation of Tour Operators. Hotels are classified according to their sustainability performance and recognised with the following awards, which are displayed throughout the brochure.
Travelife Bronze
These hotels reduce their impact on the environment and treat people in a fair and respectful way.
Travelife Silver
Hotels who actively help the local community and environment. Neilson hotels who have won this award in 2007 are the
Portomyrina Palace, Lemnos and
Cosmos Beachclub in Vassiliki.
Travelife Gold
These are hotels who lead the way with advanced sustainability actions, encouraging others to become involved, seek continual improvements and actively communicate their progress. Neilson hotels who have won this award in 2007 are the Aeolian Village in Lesvos, The Anastasia, Halkidiki, The Retreat in Sivota and The Seaside in Ortakent.
