News from Dahab.

There has been a lot going on in Dahab  of late. We have had some fantastic and challenging conditions all summer with Dahab playing true to its reputation for strong, consistent winds.

A few weeks ago we had a delivery of a huge amount of kit, so now the centre is bursting with plenty of brand new top of the range equipment.

We have also had the return of the Dahab Gps speed wall. Guests are welcome to take out the centre Gps and clock as many runs as they like. The best speed recorded by the end of October will take home the top Prize of an Aeron V-grip boom of their choice. Tushingham Sails have very kindly put up this awesome prize and at the moment Richard Hobson stands to take it home with a speed of 32.05knots. There is however plenty of time left before the winner is anounced so I'll keep the site updated for the top speeds of the season.

current standings are.

Richard Hobson- 32.05

Robin Cross- 30.3

Paul Riggs- 28.8

Tom Ross- 27.3

Nick Binnendijk - 25.8

Paul Alani -24.7

Ruth Gilbert- 23

So if you are coming out to Dahab and fancy seing how fast you can go you may well be rewarded with more than just a great holiday. If you don't fancy the speed element then there are now even more reasons to come out with loads of great kit, loads of free tuition and the best conditions I have ever experienced in my time windsurfing.

hopefully see many of you out here soon

Sam
