Travelife Awards
We have been auditing all Neilson run Beachplus and Beach Club hotels and yacht operations to see how they perform against a sustainability checklist created by Travelife, an independent initiative, funded by the European Union and supported by the Federation of Tour Operators. Hotels are classified according to their sustainability performance and recognised with the following awards which are displayed throughout the brochure:
“Travelife Bronze” these businesses reduce their impact on the environment and treat people in a fair and respectful way.
“Travelife Silver” are businesses who actively help the local community and environment.
“Travelife Gold” are businesses who lead the way with advanced sustainability actions, encouraging others to become involved. They encourage others to be involved, seek continual improvements and actively communicate their progress.
In addition, the Neilson Yachting operations for Greece and Croatia have been audited by Travelife and been awarded the Travelife Gold Award.
