The Grandvalira ski area offers almost 200km of pistes ranging from gentle nursery slopes to wide, confidence-boosting blues and long, tree-lined reds. Its sheer size means even the more experienced skier and boarder has plenty to explore for the duration of their ski holiday, including some fantastic freeride runs for the more challenging skiing holiday. As well as beginner-friendly slopes, the ski schools provide pioneering, English-speaking tuition and are continually rated as some of the best in our programme.

Three resorts give easy access via a modern lift system to the ski area. Soldeu offers some of the best accommodation in Andorra and a state-of-the-art mountain spa centre. The rustic-looking village has a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere and offers a good choice of restaurants and bars. Ten minutes down the road, El Tarter is a convenient, quieter base for your ski holiday. Its quality accommodation options are centred around a high-speed gondola and a bus service links the centre to Soldeu. Andorra’s highest ski resort, Pas de la Casa, offers an excellent snow record and lively, reasonably priced nightlife ensuring it lives up to its reputation as the party town and ideal for group ski holidays. This really is a great all-round ski area for every ability, and every type of ski holiday.

Ski holiday in Soldeu & El Tarter-

The traditionally-built village of Soldeu is centred around an express gondola which provides swift access to the slopes from the ski holiday resort, Sporthotel Village. It provides some of the best accommodation and dining options in Andorra, and enjoys a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere offering a good choice of restaurants, bars and shops.

A few miles down the road, the skiing holiday resort of El Tarter has grown over recent years and now offers high quality accommodation options conveniently located around a recently-built modern gondola and chairlift which access the Grandvalira area. Evenings are considerably quieter than neighbouring Soldeu. The free ski bus provides a frequent service linking all the ski resorts in Grandvalira area, including El Tarter and Soldeu.
