Situated on the Italian border in the Carnic Alps, Nassfeld is the largest ski area in the Carinthia region with its 110 kilometres of well-groomed slopes. Ski holidays here appeals to all abilities offering a variety of runs from gentle blues and exciting reds to some excellent off piste for the more advanced skier wanting to challenge themselves during their ski holiday. Nassfeld is also great for boarders, having played host to several snowboarding events.
Access to the slopes is via a 20 minute gondola ride from Tropolach village to the middle station where you’ll find the beginner’s area, ski school meeting point, children’s ski area and snow activity zone. The beginner’s area is well planned with skier and boarders learning separately, and a long magic carpet lift making it fun and hassle-free for getting to the top of the nursery area for families on skiing holidays.
