Learn to Ski or Snowboard
To Ski or Board?
Ask the question in our office and you’ll get a very mixed response. There is no right answer. Both skiing and snowboarding are easy to pick up. Some (not all) argue that learn to ski holidays are easier than learning to snowboard.
Give It Time
If you’re a first-time boarder, be prepared to spend the first few days on your bottom but after that you’ll be performing graceful turns in no time at all. They say to give it three days, then all that advice and practice will click together and you should advance quickly, some would say quicker than skiers.
It's Who You Know That Counts
Consider what your friends and family will be doing. If you are going on a holiday with a group of skiers, it may be better to learn to ski so they can help you along when you’re not in lessons. Similarly, if you’re going with a group of snowboarders, it may be best to learn to board, especially as your group may want to head to boarder friendly areas and parks.
