A long main street cuts right through the middle of this pleasant mountain town surrounded by stunning scenery and great wildlife – even in winter. Tourist shops rub shoulders with alpine equipment shops and brand name stores along the main street.

There is plenty to do off the slopes, mainly to do with nature – and the excellent natural hot springs are well worth a visit. There is an impressive array of restaurants and pubs, and some lively bars - Banff caters for all tastes and budgets, you can’t fail to enjoy the après-ski activities here.

Snowmobiling
