Sunshine is the main ski area with many of its slopes above tree line - 25
minutes by bus, Norquay is 15 minutes ride away, it is much smaller with wooded
slopes, while Lake Louise is a 45 minute drive & has long trails &
spectacular high mountain scenery. Beginners learn quickly with excellent
tuition while intermediates & advanced enjoy the sheer variety of piste
& deep powder bowls for the duration of their ski holiday.
In the picturesque & lively town of Banff you’re quite likely to see an Elk
out window-shopping as it wanders down the main high street. All accommodation
is linked to the resort by the regular bus system. With lots to do in the area,
much based around the wildlife to be seen in Banff National Park, non skiers
will be just as entertained here as those taking to the slopes.

Mount Norquay: The kid's place day care
Enjoy your day on the mountain or in town shopping, while
your children enjoy their day with crafts and play indoors or out, weather
permitting.
Ski Banff @ Norquay offers fully licensed day care that is just steps away from
the day lodge and the Cascade chairlift.
Open daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm for children 19 months to 6
years of age. Lunch, lessons and ski rentals are also available.

Lake Louise: Telus play station and day care
The cosy log nursery provides a safe, secure environment for those first
introductions to winter fun! Kinderski Program combines day care with ski
lessons.

Sunshine: Tiny tigers day care
Offers a safe, licensed pre-school environment. Friendly and caring staff will
provide your child with a fun filled day of indoor and outdoor activities, a
balanced lunch and two nutritional snacks with full day. 3 to 6yr olds will
enjoy 'Tiny Tigers Ski & Play'.

There is plenty to do off the slopes, mainly to do with
nature – and the excellent natural hot springs are well worth a visit. There is
