Beginners
With 15 beginners runs in the resort, all within the treeline, Kicking Horse
offers
beautiful surroundings in which to learn. Couple this with a first rate
ski and snowboard school, you'll be venturing higher up into the more
challenging, pristine slopes in no time!
Intermediates
This resort is an intermediates dream with plenty to keep you occupied
for the whole of your stay. Test yourself on the variety of off-piste
slopes in the world famous Kicking Horse 'Champagne Powder', or take a
trained guide and experience the whole mountain in the Performance
Guiding classes.
Advanced
This mountain range was almost made for the advanced skier or boarder,
with it's two ridges, CPR Ridge and Redemption Ridge. The most
challenging runs in the resort offer single and double Black Diamond
chutes and steeps, all of it off-piste, but within the patrolled ski
area. If you want to make a name for yourself in the resort then try
Run 93 from the top of Terminator Peak on the edge of the ski boundary,
only for the most experienced of skiers and definitely not for the
faint hearted!
Snowboarding
Snowboarders will love the off-piste here, as the Champagne Powder will
make it feel like your floating down the slopes! There's no board park
for anyone wanting some air time in Kicking Horse, but this resort will
definitely suit those Big Mountain boarders.
