Canadian City Add-Ons

It's a bit further to go than Europe so you'll probably want to stay at least 10 or 11 nights and see as much as you can while you're there. Why not take the opportunity to visit some exciting cities and some famous attractions or simply shop. We've selected some quality hotels in the major hubs you'll be flying into which can be added to the start or end of your holiday for as many nights as you wish.

Vancouver CityVancouver

Vancouver is an amazing combination of 'big city' and 'the great outdoors' which really does have something for everyone. Its location on the waters edge and close to the mountains ensures spectacular views in every direction. Great for shopping, or just relaxing in a cafe.

There are regular trolley bus tours around Stanley Park, a wonderful market at Granville island, ferry trips over to nearby Victoria on Vancouver Island, many well priced fine dining restaurants and even three ski resorts within a stones throw of the city. If you are staying for a few days then a trip to the Capilano suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure walk or up Grouse Mountain on the North Shore are also great places to visit.

The airport shuttle buses cost approx. $15 CD per adult and $8CD per child each way or $32 CD each way for a taxi transfer.

Montreal CityMontreal

Montreal is the biggest city in Qubec, and you can identify the Canadian and French influence on both the architecture, the relaxed atmosphere and the excellent cuisine. The city has developed a fantastic way to beat the cold winter temperatures they have built an incredible underground city with over 2000 shops and over 29km of corridors! With the combination of great shopping, good restaurants and cafe bars with live music, Montreal is well worth a visit.
