Childcare Info

Family SledgingFor younger children who won't be skiing, many resorts provide indoor crèches. There’s also our Snowman Club in Geilo and Les Deux Alpes for 2-5 year olds.

Even though they won't be skiing, there is often the opportunity for outdoor play in the snow so always make sure your child is warmly dressed.

Minimum age requirements, days and hours of opening, and prices varies resort to resort so always check the Family Information on our resort pages for full details.

      Important Notes

Our Kids' Clubs are very popular and places are strictly limited so we highly recommend you book early to reserve your child's place.

All Neilson nannies are fully qualified and police checked.

So as to reduce the risk of infection among the other children, we will not accept your child if she or he falls ill.

Should your child not settle and is clearly unhappy, we may refuse to accept them in which case a refund will be made.

We always try to accommodate children with special needs. A child's condition will be looked at individually so we can assess if our facilities are suitable and our nannies qualified to care for any specific requirements

      Important Information

Many resorts operate their own skiing and non-skiing kindergartens and some have crèche facilities for the under 2’s. By providing information about these services on our website and in our brochures does not mean that Neilson recommends the facility.

These facilities have not been checked by Neilson so we recommend all parents ensure they are happy with all aspects of the creche or children's club before leaving their children in the care of others.

Any prices and durations quoted are for guidance only.

All kindergartens reserve the right to refuse to accept or retain any child whose behaviour is considered as unacceptable or disruptive, or any child who will not settle and is clearly unhappy.

In some cases both ski and non-ski kindergartens will only operate subject to there being a minimum number of children attending.

French childcare providers usually require sight of an up to date innoculation book and a ‘certificate of health’ from your doctor.
