A purpose-built resort encompassing 10 main villages all with small shopping areas and a selection of amenities. There is a selection of non-skiing activities but not an ideal resort for non-skiers and boarders. As well as restaurants and bars in Belle Plagne, links with the other villages by bus or gondola make it easy to sample a different ‘resort’ each night. In particular, Plagne Centre has a selection of bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
The Olympic Bobsleigh run is something to experience but definitely not for the faint hearted. Reaching speeds of up to 134km per hour there are a number of group, solo or professional rides to be chosen from.
