Les Menuires

There is no getting away from the fact this is known as an ugly resort, but stylish recent developments, notably in the Reberty area, are transforming it. The great benefits are fantastic skiing and swift links into the rest of The 3 Valleys ski area, without the premium prices of Val Thorens.

A Les Menuires ski holiday offers the enormity of The Three Valleys ski area without the added expense; Les Menuires is by far the most reasonably priced ski holiday resort of all. With its own local nursery slopes it’s a good resort for beginners and family ski holidays, whilst intermediates and advanced will enjoy exploring the fast links up the mountain into Val Thorens and onwards into the infamous, 600km Three Valleys area. Those looking to experience the magnitude of this ski area without the glitz and extravagancy of some of the other resorts will find a ski holiday in Les Menuires a perfect compromise.

Not renowned as a beautiful resort, Les Menuires is working hard to turn around its reputation with some beautiful new architecture particularly in the Reberty area. Most accommodation offered has an enviable piste side location and nowhere is far from the lifts. The centre is based around precinct style buildings which house après-ski bars and a good choice of reasonably priced international restaurants.
