Just got back - Sat 27/2/2010. The couple running it this year are Kelly & Jezz with help from Rich. Absolutely lovely people and the evening meals were fantastic (as were the afternoon cakes)! Also, would like to say thanks to Simon (Neilson's rep) for his help on the slopes (first day) and entertaining us!!
Chalet is comfortable (although rooms are small). The only downside for me is being a green run person we had to get the shuttle bus into Dorons every day (after our little escapade trying the blue run down on the first Sunday!) Not enough green runs for my liking but the holiday itself was great.

This chalet is a great find. Although is is not strictly ski in/out, with just a 30 metre walk to the piste it might as well be. If there's lots of snow, it's just about possible to ski carefully along the path/road from the piste to the chalet, but watch the snow, it gets very gritty and could easily put a hole in the bottom of your skis. From the edge of the piste it is just a 3 minute ski down to the Bruyeres gondala giving access to Val Thorens and Meribel, plus of course all the Menuires runs with just one lift. Fabulous.
The chalet was run by a great couple, Guy and Haley who couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are on the small side and lack storage, but I've rarely stayed anywhere which doesn't. My only slight gripe was that the hot tub had so many chemicals in it that it stung my eyes so badly I could only stay in it for 5 minutes.

If you like to book ski hire online rather than through Neilson, Ski Set Leo Lacroix Reberty 2000 is the shop to go to. It was a bit of a gamble to do this as it was difficult to establish exactly where the chalet was located, but it turned out to be only a 2 minute walk from the chalet.

Definately to be recommended.
