Beginners
An excellent resort in which to learn to ski with plenty of gentle slopes located close to the main village. The local ski school has gained an enviable reputation for patient encouragement from English-speaking instructors.
Intermediates
Intermediate skiers keen to progress can take advantage of the long cruising blue and red runs and the more adventurous black runs. The wide pistes from Les Anges and Le Querelay are particularly suitable for the intermediate skier.
Advanced
Montgenèvre offers some testing mogul runs and wonderful off-piste opportunities around the Rocher de l’Aigle. For the more enthusiastic skier (conditions permitting), you can ski into neighbouring Italy and enjoy the varying terrain the “Milky Way” has to offer.
Snowboarding
A dedicated snowboard park with half-pipe (conditions permitting) will give experienced boarders as much air as they can handle. Wide open gentle slopes provide novices with a great place to learn. Once again the Milky Way is available to boarders with fantastic tree-lined runs and open bowls.
