Beginners
Risoul is perfect for beginners, with excellent nursery slopes set aside from the main pistes. The ski school in Risoul provides efficient, friendly instruction.
As you progress there are plenty of confidence building slopes further
up the mountain.
Intermediates
Risoul and neighbouring Vars provide an intermediates paradise with an extensive ski area and an efficient lift system. The area offers a mixture of long cruisey blues, challenging reds and steep black runs as well as bowls and good off-piste.
Advanced
There are six excellent black runs and a wide variety of interesting reds. The high, sunny bowls provide some excellent off-piste possibilities and the high altitude ensures good snow conditions.
Snowboarding
Risoul offers advanced snowboarders a wealth of off-piste terrain high above the tree-line. A snowboard park “surfland” features a 2.5 km run with half-pipes, hip’s and jumps. The resort also has a great boarding school.
