Intermediates

Risoul and neighbouring Vars provide an intermediates paradise with an extensive ski area and an efficient lift system. The area offers a mixture of long cruisey blues, challenging reds and steep black runs as well as bowls and good off-piste.

Advanced

There are six excellent black runs and a wide variety of interesting reds. The high, sunny bowls provide some excellent off-piste possibilities and the high altitude ensures good snow conditions.

Snowboarding

Risoul offers advanced snowboarders a wealth of off-piste terrain high above the tree-line. A snowboard park “surfland” features a 2.5 km run with half-pipes, hip’s and jumps. The resort also has a great boarding school.
