Beginners

There is one nursery slope next to the village and other gentle slopes for you to progress onto further up the mountain towards Passo Pordoi, though the immediate area is largely made up of steeper slopes.

Intermediates

The Dolomiti Super ski area is fantastic for intermediates, offering the 26km Sella Ronda circuit, which can be skied in two directions. There are numerous places to ski and to visit, some of the most popular are the white church and the first world war sites. All this and the neighbouring resorts of Canazei and Corvara give access to numerous tree-lined runs and, for something different, try joining the ‘Hidden Valley’ tour.

Advanced

Arabba offers some of the most challenging skiing in the Dolomites. The local north facing slopes retain their snow longer than anywhere in the region, and there is massive off-piste potential. Get an early morning heli-trip to the top of the Marmolada Glacier for first tracks, and test yourself on the World Cup run “Sasslong” in nearby Val Gardena. A great place for advanced skiers.

Snowboarding

Above or below trees, on or off-piste, Arabba is great fun for boarders. A terrain park just over the hill in the Belvedere bowl towards Canazei will cater for the advanced, while intermediates will enjoy eating up the miles of the Dolomiti Superski area.
