Take a trip to picturesque Brunico Just down the road from Kronplatz, a short 10 minute bus drive away, lies a thriving town with a picturesque walking street full of shops, bars & restaurants where the locals like to take an afternoon stroll for a chat & to watch the world go by.Brunico is well worth a visit during your stay, not just for the shopping (which is extensive with many designer label & fashion stores) but maybe also to take in some of the beautiful architecture of the old buildings & some of its historic sites. There are the old city gates, fountains & churches galore - even a huge castle built by a Bishop up on the hill overlooking the city. You’ll find the contrast to the ski resort quite striking!
