Versciaco is a quiet, relaxed village surrounded by snow-covered farmland and majestic mountains. Its location close to the Italian/ Austrian border makes for an interesting blend of cultures. Expect to hear as much German as Italian and enjoy a varied choice of cuisine from both sides of the border.

Versciaco’s ski base offers a nursery area and a children’s ski area. A modern gondola provides quick access to the perfectly groomed slopes of the Helm ski area & a long red run down to Sesto. From here you can link by ski bus to Monte Croce, San Candido & back to Versciaco within a day. For cross-country skiers & walkers, there are no less than 200km of trails in the area. San Candido is definitely worth a visit for its restaurants, bars & shops. For beginners, intermediates, families and cross-country skiers looking for a quiet resort and quality accommodation, this destination is extremely appealing.

Please Note: The mountain information refers to the Alta Pusteria ski area which includes Versciaco.
