Versciaco

"Versciaco is a quiet, relaxed village surrounded by snow-covered farmland and majestic mountains. Its location close to the Italian/ Austrian border makes for an interesting blend of cultures. Expect to hear as much German as Italian and enjoy a varied choice of cuisine from both sides of the border. "

Beginners

Versciaco is an ideal resort for those new to skiing or snowboarding, both adults and children alike. Thanks to it's beginner and children's area at the base of the mountain, and the highly qualified English speaking instructors, you'll be easing down the gentle slopes and building your confidence in no time.

Intermediates

There are plenty of red runs to keep all levels of intermediates happy here. With quick access to the Helm ski area from the base of the mountain via the modern gondola, you could be cruising down the beautifully groomed 4.8km piste that takes you to the Sesto area while others are still in bed! From Sesto, you can link by ski bus to Monte Croce and San Candido and get back to Versciaco all in one day.

Advanced

Advanced skiers and boarders will find Versciaco a bit limited, with just a couple of black runs and a small amount of off-piste to be had. There's still a good amount of reds to choose from between the 4 seperate areas.

Snowboarding

This is an ideal place for beginner and intermediate snowboarders as there's plenty of wide, gentle blue runs and challenging red runs as well. There are quite a few drag lifts in the area, but you will be able to get chairlifts to most parts of the mountain.
