Children
Beitostolen is an ideal resort for families. The compact and
well-planned layout of the resort and ski area means families can get
around and meet up throughout the day easily. Throughout the winter,
there is a daily programme of family-orientated activities available
including mini-snowmobiling, dog sledding, family ski races etc. The
resort offers free lift passes and equipment to children 0-6 years.
For skiing children, the ski school provides groups lessons for
children from three years at a dedicated children’s ski area with small
lifts. These can be pre-booked through Neilson – see ski pack panel for
details.
For non-skiing children, the ski school also offers a
supervised outdoor play area called ‘Children’s Corner’ for children
from two years (children must be out of nappies). Prices from 345Nok
for 2 hours to 770Nok for 5 days x 2 hours – book directly with the ski school locally. Local nannies and babysitters can be organised on request in resort.
