Free Tuition and Courses for Everybody
Beachplus windsurf sessions tend to be shorter than in our dedicated windsurf centres of Vassiliki and Dahab where tuition follows a more structured, progressive approach over 6 consecutive days. However the focus remains the same - making the most of the conditions for your level of ability, allowing top tuition at the right time whilst still giving you the flexibility to get everything out of your holiday that you want.
Windsurfing Tuition
Beginners venture onto the water in lighter winds. Subsequent sessions will build on newly acquired skills with the opportunity to progress throughout the week and achieve the Start Windsurfing certificate.
Intermediates will concentrate on progressing technique and move onto more advanced boards. These sessions introduce and utilise the RYA National Windsurfing Scheme and will focus on the skills needed to progress onto beach starting, fast tacking, non-planing carve gybes, using the harness and getting going as well as moving towards planing and using the footstraps.
When the winds are at their best there is also tuition for advanced sailors in line with the RYA Advanced Scheme. Here sailors will further develop the planing skills needed to be blasting comfortably, and focus on manoeuvres such as water starts and carve gybes. Video coaching may also be used to break moves down and gain the most from sessions during the week, this is also excellent for those who wish to push the limit a little further.
Whether you always just fancied having a go, want to get qualified in RYA levels or really want to crack a particular move there are sessions running everyday for every level that will help you achieve your goals.
Start Windsurfing
Will teach you the basics of windsurfing using the correct equipment, enabling you to sail a continuous course to a point out on the water and back again.This course then leads on to Intermediate Windsurfing (Non Planing).
Intermediate Windsurfing (Non-Planing)
Using Fast Forward we introduce you to the harness and beach starts whilst also looking to make your tacks and gybes smoother.
Intermediate Windsurfing (Planing)
Progressing from Intermediate non planing you will learn to make the most of the wind to get your board up onto the plane and from there learn the technique for getting into the footstraps.
Advanced Windsurfing
This is usually delivered as a series of clinics and will cover techniques such as fast tacking, water starts, planing carve gybe and advanced gybing.
