Provisioning

We recognize that good food is one of the most important elements of a great holiday – fresh ingredients, new flavours, local delicacies, alfresco dining – it all adds up to a wonderful experience. The decision to prepare your own food in your well equipped galley (onboard kitchen), or to eat in the local tavernas, or a mixture of both, is entirely up to you.

A Standard provisioning pack is provided free of charge on all Neilson yachts, containing various essentials.

The exact items may vary from time to time, as variable local availability may force us to swap one item for another, but the list below will give you a realistic impression of what's available in each pack.

You will receive the following items free of charge in the standard provisioning pack:

  • 1.5 litres water
  • 1 kitchen roll
  • 2 toilet rolls
  • 1 washing up liquid
  • 1 dish cloth
  • 1 washing up sponge
  • small pack of tea bags
  • small tin of instant coffee
  • small carton of milk

On-line provisioning

Part of the excitement of visiting a new country can be a trip to the local supermarket. However to make things easier for you we have created a list of the heavier items which you can pre-order and will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive in resort. Our yacht crew will provide you with a receipt and take payment in local currency when you arrive in resort.

We anticipate you will still want to visit the local shops prior to your departure from the Neilson base and our yacht crew will be able to point you in the right direction of the grocer or bakery.

All prices advertised are for guidance only. We will endeavour to keep this list updated. However some prices may fluctuate slightly so you may find your bill is slightly more or less than anticipated, so please take this into account when ordering. Also from time to time availability may be so that some specific brands are not available. In this case another brand of similar quality and price will be substituted. Unfortunately provisions are not returnable so plan your provisions order carefully for the length of your holiday.

Provisions orders must be submitted no later than 10 days prior to departure.
