Ionian Classic 2 week Flotilla
This classic two week flotilla allows for more free sailing and a thorough exploration of this stunning sailing area, taking in both the northern and southern Ionian. The following is an example of the south-north route, designed to give you a taster of the places you may visit whilst on flotilla, the north-south route follows this in reverse.
Please note routes may change depending on the size of the flotilla, time of year and weather conditions.

Sunday - Nidri - Arrival Day
When you arrive you will move onto your yacht located on the pontoon in Nidri, ready to start your 2 weeks on flotilla the following day
Monday - Sivota
The picturesque village of Sivota on the island of Lefkas is situated in an enclosed bay. En route you can anchor in one of the few public bays on the prestigious Onassis Island.
Tuesday - Fiscardo
Made famous by the book ‘Captain Corelli’s Mandolin’ and the subsequent film. One of our stops, Fiscardo is an old picturesque village situated on the island’s northern tip.
Wednesday - Frikes
A picture postcard setting at the bottom of a wooded ravine.
Thursday - Kalamos
A sleepy village with a couple of great tavernas and a small pebble beach.
Friday - Vonitsa
Take a detour into the ‘inland sea’ and the port of Vonitsa, complete with 17th Century Venetian castle. This landlocked gulf is one of the best places in the Ionian to spot dolphins.
Saturday - Preveza Town
The pedestrian waterfront of Preveza Town has a good array of trendy bars and cafés. However, walk away from the seafront a few streets and you will experience a more traditional way of life.
Sunday - Parga
Steeped in history, the beautiful, traditional harbour town of Parga is full of life with great restaurants, tavernas and traditional shops.
Monday - Giaos
A beautiful town on the island of Paxos, built around one of the best natural harbours in the northern Ionian.
Tuesday - Lakka
A pretty little town, sheltered by impressive mountains, perched on the northern tip of Paxos.
Wednesday - Petriti
A small hamlet on the east coast of Corfu set in an attractive bay with great snorkelling and swimming in the crystal clear water
Thursday - Corfu Town
The capital of the most northerly Ionian island, there are many beautiful Venetian buildings and the town is well worth a visit.
Friday - Platarias
A relatively quiet bay and harbour, with a good sandy beach and a few tavernas and cafés.
Saturday - Mourtos
Located on the mainland in a beautiful wooded setting. The village has several small bays and a good variety of waterfront tavernas.

One Week Flotilla
Any of our Stay and Sail yachts can be used for a one week flotilla holiday joining one of our Stay and Sail fleets in the northern or southern Ionian. The following are example routes, designed to give you a taster of the places you may visit whilst on flotilla. Please note routes may change depending on the size of the flotilla, time of year and weather conditions.

One week Flotilla in Southern Ionian
Sunday - Nidri
A great starting point for your flotilla, Nidri on the east coast of Lefkas enjoys lovely views of the wooded islets of Sparti, Madouri, Skorpidi and Skorpios.
Monday - Kalamos
Sailing from Nidri to your first flotilla stop of Kalamos, a sleepy village with a couple of great tavernas and a small pebble beach.
Tuesday - Vathi
The capital of Ithaka, Vathi is a small, colourful and busy town, set in a steep sided bay. There is much to explore including the probable site of Odysseus Palace.
Wednesday - Frikes
On the island of Ithaka, Frikes has a picture postcard setting at the bottom of a wooded ravine.
Thursday - Fiscardo
One of the most famous villages on Cephalonia, Fiscardo the St Tropez of the Ionian, is a picturesque village situated on the island’s northern tip. This is a great place to watch the rich and famous on their super yachts, but there are also some nice reasonable restaurants and lively bars.
Friday - Sivota
The scenic harbour of Sivota is situated on the island of Lefkas in an enclosed bay. En route it is possible to anchor in one of the few public bays on Onassis island.
Saturday - Nidri
Return to the Neilson base in Nidri, via the island of Meganisi, a cruising paradise with many excellent anchorages.
Sunday - Departure Day
You are free to enjoy the facilities of the Athos Hotel before your departure.
One week Flotilla in Northern Ionian
Please note that on the 4th May the Northern Ionian Flotilla will
follow a different route to that depicted below. The yachts will depart
from Nidri in the southern Ionian and sail via Lefkas, Preveza and
Parga towards Mourtos.
Sunday - Sivota, Mourtos
Starting from a harbour close to our Beachplus club The Retreat, there are a number of beautiful bays and anchorages along the coastline.
Monday - Petriti

Steeped in history, Parga’s bustling harbour is lined with restaurants and bars, while behind is a labyrinth of narrow cobbled alleys lined with traditional red tiled houses, leading to a Venetian fortress.
Saturday - Sivota, Mourtos
Return to the Neilson base in Mourtos, via a series of tiny islands and refreshing swimming and lunch stops.
Sunday - Departure Day
You are free to enjoy the facilities of The Retreat hotel before your departure.
Please note that on the 4th May the Northern Ionian Flotilla will follow a different route to that depicted above. The yachts will depart from Nidri in the southern Ionian and sail via Lefkas, Preveza and Parga towards Mourtos.
Marina and Mooring Fees
You will very rarely need to pay mooring fees in Greece, but if you do it is usually only a few Euros per night.
