The igloo located at the Coma III-Edifici Xirixuca(snack bar building) in Grandvalira-Grau Roig, and the Igloo Bar, situated in the Pla de les Pedres area, are ready to receive their first customers this Saturday.
The temporary snow and ice structures, the result of intense work carried out by a technical team of 16 people over the last few weeks, widens the snow camp’s range of après ski choices for this season.
The Coma III igloo, renowned for its unique hotel service which, for the last few seasons it has offered all those who wish to sleep like a true Eskimo, is also finalizing preparations to have two rooms ready for the end of this month. To construct this temporary building, 9,000 cubic meters of snow have been used, and the internal decoration for this season has been inspired by Romanesque architecture, with sculptures combining the use of ice and of compacted snow.
The restaurant, which this year covers 78 square meters, the bar, the lounge terrace with ambient music and the Jacuzzi, are the communal areas which will be available from this weekend, and which are a different way to relax and unwind, either sampling a delicious fondue, or having a hot drink to recharge ones batteries after a day of skiing!
Only in Andorra!
See you Soon,
The A Team
