Just returned from Lofer where we spent christmas. Lofer is probably the smallest and definitely the quietest ski resort I have been to. There are only two apres ski bars of note in the village. One is Karusell's which is big enough for about 50 people in the evening and does get quite busy....

Friendly staff who will really truly try to accommodate your needs wherever they can. Basic but comfortable and the price reflects this.
