Kitzbuhel at a glance
Kitzbuhel is a beautiful medieval walled town with cobbled streets and brightly painted elegant buildings. The heart of the small town is pedestrianised, making it a perfect place for al fresco dining and wandering through its exclusive shopping streets. The town’s atmosphere is chic as well as friendly and lively, with numerous bars dotted throughout and several music festivals that are held during the summer.
The resort sits between the ‘Wild Emperor’ mountains and the Kitzbuheler Alps making it a great natural playground for numerous sporting activities. The valley offers hikers 500km of marked paths and bike enthusiasts can enjoy 750km of trails – there is no shortage of routes here for any ability or experience level. You can play golf on one of four local courses, paraglide over unspoilt landscapes, or bathe in the beautiful Lake Schwarzsee. Activities and opportunities to explore the local area are endless here.
