Seefeld at a glance
Seefeld is a picturesque village situated on a sunny plateau above the Inn Valley, just 30 minutes from Innsbruck. Its attractive, bustling centre, pedestrianised for most of the day, offers a great choice of cafe´s, bars, restaurants and stylish shops to explore. Seefeld really does provide something for everyone whether it’s hiking, mountain biking or trying out some of the many other summer activities on offer.
There’s also a variety of excursions available to the stunning countryside and historic cities throughout Austria or to neighbouring Germany.
Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, is easily reached by a 30min scenic rail journey and is a fantastic day out. Its pretty cobbled streets lined with cafe´s and shops are perfect for wandering and attractions such as Hofburg Palace and Botanical Gardens are just some of the great sights to explore.

✓Walking & Hiking: A beautiful walking area in the Alps. Well-marked footpaths lead through flower- filled meadows and around the lake and are perfect for leisurely walks, whilst more challenging hikes from the Gschwandtkopf and Rosshütte can be reached by lift or mountain railway. The tourist office provides a full programme of guided walks for every fitness level. Led by an experienced local mountain guide, these walks are great value (approx €3-€7 per person).
✓Mountain Biking: Extensive biking routes from easy rides through to intermediate and advanced routes. Bikes can be hired in resort and guided bike tours can be organised locally.
✓Golf: The 18-hole Wildmoos Golf Course and the 9-hole and 18-hole Golf Academy Seefeld offer keen golfers the ideal environment to perfect their game.
