Whistler at a glance
There are plenty of mountain destinations offering stunning panoramic hiking and clean mountain air but few are able to match the adventure playground that is Whistler. With two mountains, ancient forests, crystal clear lakes and fast flowing rivers, it’s an excellent base to enjoy many activities such as hiking, horse riding, rafting and biking. Try something new like abseiling or perhaps go on a bear watching excursion to really get the adrenaline pumping. One thing’s for certain, boredom in Whistler is not on the agenda. If you also want somewhere with a huge choice of dining options, excellent shopping and entertainment facilities plus many cultural attractions, then Whistler ticks all the boxes. It has consistently been ranked the number one resort in North America and was designated ‘Cultural Capital of Canada’ for 2009.
