Nestled on the mountainside, lying just below the pretty village centre of La Rosiere is our beautiful, spacious, 7 bedroom, all ensuite, Chalet La Bergerie.
It's a wonderful base for some superb skiing in both France and Italy - plus there are some great offers for groups booking the whole chalet!ANd we've got lots more where that came from.

2000 miles until Lesvos!
(posted by Ian Walker - Sponsored by Neilson on 23/06/2009)
From Ian Walker, Galway June 5th:
After sailing 35,000 miles around the World on the Green Dragon we now only have 3 legs or 2000 miles to go. People are starting to think about life after the Volvo and with this in mind I have booked my 2 weeks family holiday with Neilson in Lesvos, Greece.
People think I am mad to book a ‘sailing’ holiday after so long at sea but of course the holiday is far more than that. We have been there before and had such a good time it was an easy decision to go back. Not only did we love the facilities and food but we and the kids made some good new friends too. I spent more time on the tennis court and on a mountain bike than I did on a boat but having said that it is great to get back in a small boat too.
The Volvo Ocean Race is the toughest thing mentally and physically I have ever done. When it is windy, sailing a Volvo 70 is one of the most extreme things anybody can do. We push these boats so hard it is ridiculous. Tomorrow (6th June) we leave Galway for Marstrand, before stopping at Stockholm and St Petersburg. I never thought I would get to fulfill my dream of sailing around the world, but now I am 20 days away from the end of the race. I’m looking forward to putting my feet up for a while and especially to a quiet cocktail or 2 in Lesvos by the pool.
