As a travel company we know how important holidays are and we have a number of benefits encouraging our employees to make the most of our products and services at low prices, for example through holiday concessions and discounts.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
  • Monthly wage - Your wage depends on your role and level of qualification.
  • Bonus - Paid on completion of a satisfactory season. 
  • Day off - One full day off each week.
  • Holiday entitlement - All employees are entitled to holiday leave in addition to their day off per week. For summer employees, this includes paid time off during the season. For winter employees it's given as an extra half day off per week.
  • Accommodation – Good standard provided and nearly always shared. Managers have their own accommodation.
  • Travel - We arrange travel from the UK to your overseas resort and back at the end of your contract. We also contribute to travel expenses to your UK departure airport.
  • Uniform- A stylish, comfortable uniform is provided for you to wear when on duty. 

  • Insurance - Company insurance looks after any emergency medical and emergency dental expenses, along with personal belongings cover. (within limits)

  • Activities - For ski season staff we will provide a local lift pass for your local ski area and ski and boot hire will be provided for the season. For summer season staff, all equipment is available for use in your free time if not being used by guests - you could gain RYA qualifications over the summer at no cost.
  • Holiday Concessions - Whilst employed by Neilson, you, and your family, will be eligible for a range of travel discounts on Thomas Cook holiday products. Your personal discount increases with the amount of seasons you complete.
  • Staff discounts - As active experts we have in place many staff discount schemes from an array of kit and clothing retailers.
  • UK job opportunities – As an extra bonus there are opportunities to work in our UK office and show off some of those overseas skills. 
  • Training – We will ensure that you are properly trained in all aspects of your role, ready to meet our guest expectations and satisfying all company and legal requirements.
  • Development – You can join our teams overseas and walk away with a qualification in all sorts of activities.  We also actively encourage promotion from within.
