Other Accommodation
In addition to our range of hotels, chalets and lodges, we offer a host of other accommodation that may suit those looking for a bit more independence and groups or families on a budget who prefer
to cater for themselves, or experience the delicacies of local
restaurants. The following gives you a quick summary of the different types of accommodation and who they may suit best.
Studios
Ideal for families and small groups on a budget as they all have a kitchenette with cooking facilities, bathroom and the beds tend to be pull-out or sofa beds in the living area.
Apartments
Larger than studios with one or more bedrooms with twin or double beds, a separate living area sometimes with pull out sofa beds or bunks, kitchen facilities and a bathroom.
Cabins
Popular in Norway or Sweden and are often attractive, comfortable and well equipped offering good quality accommodation in a cosy wooden style. They are generally situated in quiet secluded areas, close to the slopes making them ideal for families and groups looking for a cosy,
relaxed base.
Aparthotels
These are studios or apartments linked
to a hotel. There is usually an option to take meals in the hotel and
use the hotel’s facilities.
Pensions
Charming, family-run properties, which generally feature in Austria. They offer bed and breakfast or half board accommodation where evening meals are sometimes taken at a nearby hotel. There may be a small bar
area and sometimes a sauna or steam room. Pensions are ideal for those
who enjoy an intimate, friendly atmosphere and are looking for great value and service.
