Rauris is a fantastic family-friendly resort offering a choice of gentle slopes and a great programme of children's activities.
It’s one of Neilson’s top ‘Family Resorts’ so all families can benefit from our ‘Family Rep Service’.
Skiing Children:
A dedicated children’s ski area close to Hotel St Hubertus has a magic carpet lift and a small bunny lift, making things a little easier for the youngest novice skiers.
Experienced children’s instructors teach and encourage children from as young as 3yrs.
For children who have skied before, the ski school invests time at the beginning of the week to ensure they are placed in the right group for their age and ability.
The end-of-course races give children the chance to show off their new-found skills.
Everyone’s a winner here with medals and a certificate for every child.
Pre-Bookable Group Ski Lessons
Neilson offer pre-bookable group ski lessons for children from 4 years for 3 days x 4hrs or 5 days x 4hrs.
Sessions for ski school normally run 10am-12pm and 1pm to 3pm.
Lunch and lunchtime supervision is available locally at a supplement of approximately €11 per day.
Ski Kindergarten
The ski kindergarten where the youngest children can learn and have fun in the snow (available for children 3-5yrs - must be potty trained) can be booked directly with the ski school.
They offer ½ days to 6 day packages.

Non-skiing Children:
There is a non-ski crèche in the village centre which takes babies and young children.
