This traditional, picturesque resort is ideal for families and beginners with gentle nursery slopes located close to the village, where expert instructors provide excellent ski and snowboard tuition. In addition, Seefeld skiing offers some of the best cross-country skiing in the Alps with 266km of trails winding their way through stunning scenery and a pedestrianised centre with shops, bars& restaurants is a just wonderful place to be as the evening draws in.
Cross country
The Seefeld plateau is Europe’s capital of cross country skiing; the five villages that make up the Olympica Region are home to 266km of impeccably groomed trails covering all level of difficulty. Twice the host for Nordic events at the Winter Olympics, there’s a pretty even balance of classic and skating trails to choose from here.As well as the established trails to Seefeld, the area offers a good selection of easier trails near the Wildsee and the more challenging running from Mösen, heading out towards the Wildmoos.
