Childcare in resort

Most ski resorts offer some level of childcare services, so to help you find the right childcare in the right resort, we've created a Family Information tab on each resort page which lists all childcare facilities available. The information is shown under four category headings:

• Babycare
• Crèche
• Ski kindergarten
• Child ski school

In some resorts childcare is operated by the ski school, at others by the resort itself, or it may be a completely independent business or a mixture of any of these. We've also shown which services can be pre-booked with us so that you can be sure of reserving a place for your child.

Neilson-run children's clubs:

All of our Neilson-run children's clubs are based in the Neilson Hotel Aalborg in Les Deux Alpes, France. The clubs are available to book by any Neilson guests staying in Les Deux Alpes, just ask at the time of booking if sufficient spaces are available for the week you wish to travel.

Our clubs provide a safe and secure environment where our experienced nannies look after your children throughout the day. Each child benefits from the continuity of care by being looked after by the same nanny all week. Due to the flexible nature of these clubs, parents are welcome to drop the children off and pick them up as they please within the club opening times.

Snowangels Club 4-23 months

What's included?

Six full days care from 9.00am to 4.30pm with lunch, snacks and drinks included. All Snowangel Club staff hold a Level 3 childcare qualification, working to a strictly controlled ratio of one nanny for every 2 children. Please note that parents are to provide nappies and wipes for their children.

Sleep Club:

We also operate a Sleep Club two evenings a week which operates in the crèche/clubroom from 7 til 10pm. The cost is £20 per evening for the first child and £10 for each subsequent sibling.

Snowman Club 2-4 years

What's included?

Six full days care from 9.00am to 4.30pm with lunch, snacks and drinks included.Our nannies provide plenty of entertainment including indoor and outdoor activities (age and weather permitting) snowman building, tobogganing, arts and crafts, videos, music, singing and plenty of stories. Toys, books, games, colouring books and dressing up clothes. An informative daily activities report to tell you about your child's day. We maintain a ratio of one nanny to every four children in our Snowman Club.

Sleep Club:

We also operate a Sleep Club two evenings a week which operates in the crèche/clubroom from 7 til 10pm. The cost is £20 per evening for the first child and £10 for each subsequent sibling.

Snowbusters Club 5-12yrs

What's included?

Six full days care from 9.00am to 4.30pm when your child is not in ski kindergarten or ski school. We operate a 'drop off' and 'pick up' service to ski school in the morning, at lunchtime and when ski school lessons finish in the afternoons, from and to the club base.The club includes lunch and lunch time supervision, supervised indoor and outdoor activities such as tobogganing, board games, arts and crafts, group activities, outdoor play and walks, snowman building, decorating and videos. We recommend children attending this club take ski tuition either in the local ski kindergarten or dedicated children's group lessons run by the ski school to get the most out of their holiday. We maintain a ratio of either one or two nannies to every eight children depending on the activity the children are participating in.

Snowbusters evening entertainment:

We also offer entertainment for our Snowbusters two evenings a week, which can range from meal nights out to movie nights in. This service is only bookable and payable locally.

†If your child does not join ski school a supplement of £65 per week is payable for all day supervision in Snowbusters Club. Lunch and lunchtime supervision is included with all bookings for full day care and is available at a local supplement for 1/2 day care.*Sleep Club operates on two evenings throughout the week and is only open to families staying in the Hotel Aalborg. **Ski Kindergarten is 6 days x 2hrs 45mins each day.

Our kids' clubs are very popular and places are strictly limited so we highly recommend you book early to reserve your child's place.
