Val Thorens activities
A purpose-built resort with a good variety of facilities. Due to the
resort height and layout, it is ideal for skiing and boarding but would
not be so good if you were not taking part in ‘on the mountain’
activities. A good range of bars, restaurants, creperies and pizzerias
are huddled together in the centre of the resort providing a
satisfactory choice of varied evening entertainment. There is also a
sports centre offering many activities for adults and children alike.
The longest toboggan run in Europe
6 kilometres in length with a vertical drop of 700 metres it can take up to 45 minutes to speed down this icy slide!
Soothe your skiing muscles at the spa
A number of Spas are
open in Val Thorens offering massages, beauty treatments, saunas, hot
tubs or swimming pools. Fitness gyms are also available if the slopes
haven’t already worn you out!
