The English-speaking Snowflake Club in Årebjörnen is the perfect place for children aged 3-4 years to enjoy indoor and outdoor games and skiing.

Pre-bookable through Neilson ski school is available for children aged 4-11yrs.

ÅRE FOR FAMILIES
The wide, gentle and uncrowded ski areas at Årebjornen and Duved are great for families.
Årebjornen in particular, offers dedicated children’s lifts, warming huts, a teddy ‘bear’ ski trail through the forest.
Årebjörnen is a peaceful centre set amid snowy forests, a 10-15min bus ride from Åre village.
Its ski area is lift-connected to the main Åre ski area (approx 45mins skiing time) and a free ski bus which runs regularly between 9am and 8pm connects to Åre village.
It is a winter wonderland for families with every aspect of the village and ski area designed with parents and children in mind.
The network of wide, gentle slopes are never more than a stone’s throw away from the attractive wooden cabins and apartments.
Resort facilities include a supermarket, ski hire shop, restaurant and pub, all located at the base of the ski area in a central service building.
This safe, quiet environment is the perfect place to introduce children of all ages to skiing and snowboarding.
