Set at the foot of the majestic Eiger, this traditional resort offers easy access by mountain railway and lifts to the Jungfrau ski region. Its slopes offer a mix of wooded runs and open pistes higher up. For something different, brave the 15km sledge run from the Faulhorn down to the village or take a train from Kleine Scheidegg through to the Jungfraujoch, Europe’s highest railway station at 3,450m.
