Our flotilla holidays in the Northern Aegean will introduce you to 'Greece's secret paradise', a beautiful and undiscovered sailing area. Sailing holidays here start from our base of Nea Skioni on the Kassandra peninsula of Halkidiki and explore further afield to include the Sithonia peninsula.
The islands and mainland of the northern Aegean are steeped in ancient history and mythology - our flotillas will be sailing the same seas as the Greek fleets of legend on their way to the ancient city of Troy.
The sailing area is less crowded than the Cyclades and Sporades, moorings and safe anchorages are easier to find and consistent summer winds blowing steadily from the north create ideal sailing conditions for all abilities. Flotilla stops include picturesque bays and traditional villages, many have a rustic, local feel. You can expect to raft and anchor up in bays more often that tying up to quay sides with their associated facilities such as showers and shops. This all adds to the wonderful experience and unique nature of this fantastic sailing area.
