Want to improve your game? Of course you do and one-on-one coaching will give you the expert guidance you need. We offer private coaching at all our beachclubs with tennis courts. You can still make the most of our inclusive group coaching sessions, but for an extra charge our expert coaches will take your game to the next level.
Our private coaching sessions are one-on-one, giving you the individual attention you need to become a better tennis player. Our coaches will tailor each hour-long session to you, whatever your level, so together you can work on the areas where you most need support.
Sessions are a lot more technical that the group coaching, breaking down your shots so you can improve your play. We use video analysis to review your technique and pinpoint areas of improvement. We hit a lot of balls too, so you can improve through practice and repetition.
Some of the common kinks we see are easily ironed out. These are; poor footwork, racket control and accuracy of shots. By working with you to receive the ball correctly, apply the correct technique and focus on WHERE you hit the balls, you’ll soon be a better all round player!
Each of our coaches has their own individual style but they’re all encouraging and want to ensure you have a great tennis experience. We have 20 coaches across our beachclubs in Sardinia, Croatia and Greece, all of whom are LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) or PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) qualified.
Our coaches spend their days teaching tennis both privately and for groups at our stunning beachclubs. It’s a hard life (well maybe not!) but they are passionate about helping our guests to love tennis (like they do) and get more out of the game.
Roddy Barbour is our Head Tennis Coach at Aeolian Village Beachclub. This will be his fourth summer with Neilson, he is qualified to LTA level 3 and learnt to play tennis when he was five years old.
Roddy says: “I’ve always played tennis and just love the game so decided to take it up as a career. Working with people one-on-one, whatever their tennis ability, is the most rewarding job in the world. It’s all about determining what you want to achieve and helping you get there”.
Private coaching is available at all of our beachclubs with courts for approximately £32 per hour and £20 for 30 minutes (charged in local currency). You can also book in blocks of three, four or five lessons. All private coaching can be booked at the beginning of your holiday and is subject to availability.
If you want to get the most out of your tennis holiday, make sure you take advantage of our inclusive group tennis coaching and ‘free play’ time too. We also run social tennis for two hours each day so that you can practice against as many different players as possible. It’s a great place to share your passion for tennis and have fun at the same time as fine-tuning those skills!
