Working with Neilson, the sky’s the limit!

Our people are the backbone and the future of our business. Therefore, we’ll always ensure that our staff receives comprehensive and ongoing training.

As a business, we must ensure that our team is equipped to exceed guest expectations and meet all our legal requirements.

Recruitment Process & Top Tips

Be realistic about your skill set and play to your strengths. There’s nothing wrong with getting your foot in the door first and then shooting for the stars.
Read the job description thoroughly, and note the specific requirements for that role. Certain jobs require individual skills and qualifications.

If you’re already passionate about an activity we offer and you pursue this in your spare time. You could already be halfway there, but always look at the required qualifications for the role.

We receive a lot of applications, but we don’t have an endless number of jobs available. The competition for a role with Neilson is always tough; sadly, we can’t give everyone a job.

The application process is easy, so please read the job descriptions available on our website thoroughly. Be honest with yourself and your abilities.

Always apply for the job you’re most suited. If we like your application and you pass the initial criteria, we will likely invite you to an online video interview.

Your application and the subsequent video interview will be your time to shine. The best advice we can give you is to put in the effort and show us why you’re the best person for the job. Make sure you stand out from the crowd and show us your personality.

Don’t be shy or sell yourself short. Show us who you are, what you’re all about, and why you deserve a place on our team.

Neilson Online One-way Video Interviews

Once you’ve fully completed your application form, you’ll receive an auto-response from the team to say that we’ve received your application.

From this point, keep an eye on your emails. If you pass the initial stage, external applicants will receive an email within 24 hours inviting you to complete an online one-way video interview.

You’ll have 14 days maximum to complete this task. We can only proceed with your application once your video interview is complete. After 14 days, your application will automatically get deleted as dormant.

We would love to be able to offer everyone a job, but it’s important to note that, more often than not, the volume of applications we receive far outweighs the number of positions that we have available.

The screening process is ongoing over the season, so please do not expect an immediate response. After submitting your application and video interview, we will have your details.

We will add all our successful candidates to our standby list. As we work through our placement process, we will contact you if we have a job available. We will endeavour to keep everyone updated as things move forward.

Good luck
