Product and Purchasing
Our product and purchasing department is one of the best – with some of the most commercially focussed negotiators in the business. The team work hard with our suppliers to influence, negotiate and develop the very best product and pricing offerings. The ability to effectively apply and manage commercial activities in a dynamic business environment is an absolute must.
We have a number of people that support the infrastructure of our business on a day-to-day basis; they work tirelessly to manage our directors, facility’s and all our UK employees. Ensuring the UK teams have the tools to do their jobs.
IT and Systems
Our IT and Systems team are involved in monitoring, maintaining and developing the computer systems and networks at our Brighton office and in all our overseas resorts. In effect, this department is the heart beat of what we do since without them we simply could not operate. These tech savvy people install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware / software faults and solve all manner of technical problems - so it’s not for the faint hearted.
A business is only as good as its employees and the HR Department's main function is to bring out the best in them. From recruitment and selection, to people development and employee engagement, the HR team support every stage of the employee journey. It’s a great department, but you must be able to cope with the demands of a fast paced, people facing, dynamic environment.
It’s the job of the Overseas Department to support our overseas management team in ensuring our summer and winter products deliver on their promise; to exceed customer expectations and promote customer loyalty. This is a department where the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff, internal and external customers and suppliers is absolutely essential.
Finance and MI
The team work in a pressured environment ensuring that the financial key indicators of the business become actuals. They work tirelessly to provide accurate and timely financial analysis and are involved in planning and forecasting the future of the organisation. With a large business model and many cost centres, the team are kept firmly on their toes. If you have experience in providing standard to moderately complex financial support that is either transactional or analytical, then we'd love to hear from you.
Commercial and Planning
A focus on profit and loss is a prerequisite for any successful business. With a good understanding and appreciation of how the company's profits are reflected in all its operations, the team can price our holidays accordingly. Sound business acumen, an aptitude for figures, the ability to manage projects long term and exceptional people skills are essential qualities.
Sales and Marketing
The Neilson brand is one of the most recognised in the industry; from the orange 'N' to the 'Relax as hard as you like' strap line - 6 short words which sum up our holidays to a T. Making the brand what it is takes a team of highly creative people who collectively identify consumer demand relative to our Neilson products.
