Job Title: Spa Therapist

Department: Neilson Beach Club

Location: Overseas

Travel Factors: Six months overseas

Reports to: Spa Manager

Job Role Summary

To carry out spa and beauty services in a professional and friendly manner whilst delivering a high standard of customer service and working towards the aims and objectives of the spa

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Effectively promote spa and beauty treatments to our guests to meet and when possible exceed targets for therapist utilization, repeat bookings, and treatments performed

Up sell treatments and retail to maximize spa sales

Ensure all spa and beauty bookings are made in the most effective and productive manner, maximising treatment opportunities

Lead the way by showing willingness to performing treatments and presenting yourself to both staff and guests in full Neilson uniform

Carry out spa treatments and services to a high standard as set during training

Actively maintain a good knowledge of all spa services and products, Attending spa training sessions and regular refreshment with manuals provided

Ensure that all agreed targets regarding Key Performance Indicators are achieved

Ensure that the spa and other beauty outlets are presented in excellent visual presentation, taking responsibility for all treatment areas

Ensure all standard operating procedures as detailed in the manual are followed accordingly

Follow all Health & Safety procedure and instructions accordingly and ensure a safe spa and hotel

Actively report to spa supervisor any issues relating to the operation and ideas for improvements

Seek direct feedback from customers at all times, reporting feedback to supervisors, providing the best possible customer service and support

Display excellent customer service and awareness at all times

Demonstrate an excellent, overall knowledge of Neilson products to advise our guests

Help manage stock levels by following usage guideline set during training

Ensure correct handling and security of retail and professional stock distributed or received

Ensure the correct use of the spa POS system Develop positive working relationships with all team members to encourage teamwork

Develop and maintain a good working relationship with management, the spa team and all other employees

These are the main accountabilities, however you will be required to carry out other duties which help with the smooth running of overseas operations as designated by your Manager

Essential: Approachable, confident, knowledgeable. Excellent appearance and personal grooming

Organised, hardworking, and honest

Flexible, energetic, self-motivated and target orientated.

Be keen to display constant high levels of service and standards

Technical Skills or Knowledge:

Essential: Basic understanding of computer systems such as word, excel, email.

Capable of learning new programs and procedures quickly and accurately.

Desirable: Computer literate with word, excel, email. Able to access and navigate on internet

Experience and Track Record:

Essential: 0-1 years Practical

0-1 years sales

Desirable: Previous work experience overseas

Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships, or Accreditations:

Essential: Educated to GCSE standard.

Professional qualification e.g. NVQ Levels 3, diploma or equivalent

Desirable: Temple Spa Trained
