Reports to: Children’s Club Manager/Hotel Manager

Job Role Summary

To prepare, organise, and deliver a fun, safe and stimulating activity programme for children whilst on a Neilson ski holiday.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain an excellent standard of customer service.

Create and deliver a daytime and evening activity programme for children in our variety of children’s clubs aged from 2 - 14yrs following the Neilson programme.

Ensure activities are fun, engaging, and age appropriate for each of the individual children’s clubs making best use of the environment and equipment available.

Create a child friendly environment considering Health and Safety requirements.

Meet with parents on a daily basis and encourage open communication to discuss the individual needs of each child.

Organise appropriate snacks and meals for the children.

Keep the crèche, clubrooms, equipment, and toys clean, well maintained, and sterilized where appropriate.

Take personal responsibility for the security of Neilson equipment and the satisfactory appearance of Neilson sites.

Work as part of a team to set up and pack up the children’s club programme on a daily basis and practically help prepare the resort for the start and end of season.

Help organize and host social events, deliver briefings and generally interact with guests at all times.

Be prepared to move between different resorts according to operational needs of the business to fulfil your contractual end date.

Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties, within reason, as requested by your manager according to training you have been given.

Qualifications and Experience required

First Aid certificate valid for the duration of the contract.

Educated to GCSE standard.

Experience of working with children in an activity environment.

Previous customer service experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required

Ability to deliver fun, engaging, safe and age appropriate children’s club activities.

Knowledge of emergency First Aid procedures.

Ability to effectively communicate with guests of all ages, management and other staff.

Ability to work well within a team and maintain effective working relationships.

Able to work on own initiative and follow verbal and written instructions.


Clean and tidy appearance.
