Salary: 

Up to £800 PCM (Net) + Accom, flights, food, lift pass + great overall package. Salary varies depending on the property size & the country in which you are placed.

Job Role Summary:

You will be responsible for making sure that the hotel remains secure throughout the night while providing support to the hotel team, carrying out additional hotel host duties as well as administrative tasks and cleaning duties.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Conduct regular checks throughout the night to ensure the hotel is secure, and that any customer issues are dealt with
  • Respond to any emergencies that occur in a timely professional and confident manner
  • Complete any hotel host or administrative tasks that have been set by your line manager. This could include cleaning, kitchen prep, bar work, stock checks
  • You will need the ability to cope with unsociable hours and working alone
  • Able to deal with customers in both a friendly and authoritative manner
  • To be customer service orientated at all times and encourage direct feedback from our guests
  • Develop a positive working relationship within all teams
  • Demonstrate excellent overall knowledge of the Neilson product and pro-actively cross-sell our holidays

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Previous night porter experience or hotel host experience
  • Customer service experience and working with the public
  • Ski or boarding experience desirable
  • Educated to at least GCSE standard
  • A full, UK driving license would beneficial; however, this is not essential. For insurance purposes, you would need to be aged 21 or over, ideally with experience of driving in snowy conditions 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work alone throughout the night
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to use your initiative and to follow written/verbal instructions
  • Knowledge of food safety & hygiene
  • Knowledge of general health & safety procedures
