The Tibetan themed Hotel Himalaia Pas sits right next to the slopes and is just a short walk to the nearest chairlift and resort centre. It's a great standard of accommodation and the atmosphere is relaxed thanks to the open spaces and warming colours used in the furniture and artefacts. It really is an ideal place to call home while you're in the mountains.

Off the slopes, catch up on your holiday book in the reading room or try something a bit more competitive in the games room. The indoor pool, sauna and hot tub are the ultimate in relaxation so be sure to check out all three before you leave. Overall, it's a great choice for groups looking to balance relaxation and excitement during their Andorran stay.

About the resort

Legendary is the word to describe the Pas de la Casa. On the mountain you have the Grandvalira as your playground; 210km of wide-open, cruisy slopes with the added bonus of dedicated beginner areas, parks for freestyle and really accessible yet challenging off-piste. And at 2100m the snow is pretty reliable too.

Off the mountain it has the party hard reputation for a reason. The main strip is full of bars all with enthusiastic signs tempting you inside. The range of nightlife is completely varied so it is possible to have an all-nighter or simply a nice relaxed and chilled out evening.
